One of first things I did during sabbatical was a Polybar Guitar. In high school I was a big fan of Guitar Hero. I played mostly on a drum kit, but I enjoyed guitars too. I’m very glad that in 2026 there’s community to support DIY custom controllers and games like YARG or Clone Hero.

Printing the controller and assembling it brought me a lot of joy. The project is well thought and Discord community incredibly helpful. 10/10 experience, I plan to make more guitars in the future.
